Today is our first day to have lessons in ESC Rennes. As the time-table for our classes are not available on-line, we have to go back to school at 8:15am to check it out.
It seems that the summer is going to be ended in Rennes. During these few days, the day time seems to be shortened and the weather become cooler.
After school, my friends went to my residence to have dinner with me.They said today was a vegetarian day. So we only had tomatos and potatos soup and vetgetables to eat tonight. However, we did have chocolate ice cream to be our dessert.(although it has been melted)
I have learned the way of living as a French to enjoy their lifestyle. So, Today I just want to stay in my room to enjoy my day off!!!! Surfing the Internet, chatting with my friends and family.
I miss all of you!!!!!!!
The server of the Internet provider was down last night. All of us couldn't access to the Internet. I discovered that I couldn't live without the Internet in Rennes because there is no other entertainment. The only thing I can do last night was to read through the Ryanair case.
Coincidently, I met my City U buddy outside the supermarket. I was so surprised that she couldn't recognize me. Actually, she had just come back to Rennes today. She looked totally exhausted after her internship.
Thanks for helping us to open the champion card!! Tonight we had another welcome party with almost 700 students here. French people are very crazy for party. They are very hyperactive and nearly out of control. We spent 2.5 hours to reach the venue. I discovered that French people have a lot of misunderstandings and wrong concepts about China.
After the party last night, it was so hard to wake up even our class was in the afternoon. Finally, my angel has defeated the devil. However, Oscar and Luis were still sleeping.

Today, I went to school by my newly bought bicycle. It only took me 10 minutes to go to school. It's great!!!!
My assigned schedule was not very good. Luckily, Isabelle allowed me to switch to another group. Now, my time table is very perfect!!!!! My first lesson was operation management because of the construction of the ESC system. In this school, we the professors' didn't provide us with the powerpoint notes, so, we felt a bit inconvenient.
After school, we went to the city center to shop. But I couldn't imagine that the boys love shopping more than the girls do. Shopping in supermarket seems to be our everyday practice.

I finally realize that Hong Kong is actually a food paradise. I miss all the dim sums, hot pot, thai food, chinese food, desserts...etc. When I come back, I have to eat a lot of them again!
My plane to Barcelona and London has been confirmed. I am looking forward to the break at the end of Oct.

The server of the Internet provider was down last night. All of us couldn't access to the Internet. After the party last night, it was so hard to wake up even our class was in the afternoon. Finally, my angel has defeated the devil. However, Oscar and Luis were still sleeping.We were going to be late, but we only had two bicycles. Oscar was going to drive me to school. I was very scared because the bicycle was very unstable. Luckily, we could arrive school safely.

It’s the beginning of second academic week. My class begins at 11:15am, so I go to the business school library to “conquer” my textbook. The academic workload here is quiet high, compared to CityU.

Today I meet a student who has served in the US army. Actually, he had gone to the Kuwait, Iraq and Afghanistan, which I can hardly believe. He tells me his life there, the food he ate and the people he met there. It is really a nice conversation.

I have a super-early class today – 9:05am. It’s a fitness and wellness laboratory. We do a body test to examine our body condition. .In the evening, I get another interesting class; it is called “In-Basket” Exercise. It’s an examination-like thing to test our management and leadership skills. We act as a manager for an US corporate and get only 105 minutes to deal with 8 cases. It’s a lot of fun, tough “In-Basket” is quite tough.

It’s a long day today because I had three long classes. In the last class afternoon, our group does a very innovative group test. It is similar to an IQ test, but it is done by groups. Together with other three group-mates, we solve more than 200 questions in half an hour. It is exciting.

Thanks god, it’s Friday. We go to a near campus restaurant called “SUSHIBAR”. Actually, most of its dishes are for Korean. What’s interesting is that it offers KTV. I really miss it~ We have a lot fun there.
